  1. Hi there,
We are very excited to be in a quad blog with you. It is really hard for us to think of you just back after summer break when we have had snow on the ground and nasty hail storms this week. We are really looking forward to hearing a lot more about your school and your area.

    2. Hi Sam L,
At our school (New Gisborne Primary School) we don’t have any pets. I would like to know what you do with the chickens at your school. At my school in grade four we have an activity that we do every Thursday, were we make and try all different kinds of food some were very bad and you had to eat the whole plate(didn’t like that much when foods came on that I didn’t like) but some were very tasty! Do you have anything at your school that is similar to kitchen garden? If your wonder why garden is in there it is because we did gardening as well as cooking.

Hi I am Bianca and our school has a canteen two times a week. It is on Wednesday and Friday. We have ice-creams and drinks and you can have lunch orders for lunch pies and pizza and other things like that. We can bring money to spend or just have or normal lunch like we usually do every other day. So do you guys have a canteen or anything like that at your school?

    2. Hi Oliver,
As you may know, Australia uses the Australian Dollar as their currency. So I'm going to roughly translate the prices of the things in our canteen. Paddle Pops are £1, all the other ice-creams are £0.65, Frozen Apple Juice (juice in cups frozen) is £0.3, Chicken Crackles (balls of chicken meat) are £0.3, Mini Pizzas are £2 and there are many more but those are the main things purchased.
We also bring packed lunch and playlunch/snack.

  26. Hi Mrs Gallagher my name is Lucy and I am in grade 6 at New Gisborne Primary School. What I love about school is that everyday the grade 6's have a specialist class. Weather its grade 5 and 6 sport of music and art. They all go for 1 hour and there is always something to do for everyone. My favorite specialist is on Wednesdays and it is sport. I love sport because it uses alot of energy and involves learning new skills, going over things that we have learnt in the past or even just playing a game. In the classroom we do a mixture of things. At the moment we are making our own cereal box. We have just finished our front and one side panel. This is for something that we do called pantry plunder, but my favorite thing to do would have to be literacy. It is one of my strengths and I really enjoy.
    Talk to you soon.
    Yours sincerely
    Lucy!

  27. Hi Mrs Gallagher,
I am Laura from NGPS (New Gisborne Primary School), the Australian Blog you guys are Quadblogging with. The thing I want you to know about our school is our location. We are in New Gisborne, which is below a mountain called Mt Macedon (it's 1001 metres high). We are around 57 km north-west the capital of Victoria, which is Melbourne. The fact that we are below a mountain makes it quite cold here (for Australia). Right now the average temperature is 15 degrees. We are also in a forest area (expect for the farms).
If you have any more questions, just ask.
    Laura

  32. Hi,
My name is Ashleigh. I am in year 6B of New Gisborne Primary School. Today is the last day of term 3. Usually we end school at 3.20 but today we end at 2.30. This year I am going to the Wimmera show circuit for 3 weeks, its starts on the 1st of October. The Wimmera is when all these horse showing people come to one place and camp there with their horses and go to shows nearly every day. I have got a few questions for you
    What is your favourite animal?
    What is your favourite colour?
What is your favourite subject in school?
What do you do in your spare time?
Does your school have an assembly?

      What is your favourite colour?

What do you do in your spare time?

    2. Hi Nikolas,
My favourite animal is a wolf. This is because they are very intelligent and they just look awesome.

My favourite colour is blue, because when I look at it, it relaxes me (not sure why).

My favourite subject is (other than science because we don't have it) history. It's fascinating to learn things that happened in the past and how ridiculous their so-called medical cures were (if someone fainted in the rule of the family of the Stuarts, they blew smoke up their bottom!).

I make origami in my spare time. The passion grew firstly because of my best friend (who is Japanese) and the fact that I'm not the most popular person in school. So when my friends were away, I used whatever paper I could get my hands on and turned it into origami.
      Hope you reply,
      Laura NGPS.
